Jessica Jones has always kept a low profile to ensure her daughter, Emily Green, can grow up like any other normal child. However, the school children believe that Emily Green comes from a poor family and use this as an excuse to bully her. Meanwhile, Edward Brown's mother, Amanda Brown, falsely claims to be the wife of the president of the Green Group and teams up with other parents and teachers to join in the bullying. Eventually, Amanda Brown realizes that Jessica Jones is actually the true wife of Michael Green, and she can no longer deceive others or herself. Amanda Brown receives the punishment she deserves. Through this experience, Emily Green grows to admire her mother even more and learns how to protect herself.
